St. David's Episcopal Church

Mission: To serve all God's children with the love, strength and wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ

Youth Ministry

In 2013, thirteen youth ages 12-15 were confirmed into the Episcopal church following a two year Rite 13 Confirmation at Saint David's 2013program led by the rector  and 8 adult mentors.  In 2015, 9 additional young people were confirmed following a two year Rite 13 program.

These young people met regularly throughout the school year for instruction, fellowship and fun. Additionally, they served as ministers regularly as lectors, acolytes, altar guild, ushers and child care givers.

In 2014 under the leadership of Emma Hauser and Gillian Charbonneau, an Episcopal Youth Formation group, made up of the Rite 13 graduates, began meeting periodically to do service projects throughout the community and to gather for fellowship.  The group meets periodically with the rector for soup and conversation.

Currently there are no age appropriate children for a confirmation class.  We hope to begin a new class in 2018.  Stay tuned for more information.
