Our Pastoral Musician and Choir Director, Tom Kovacevic, is a graduate of Notre Dame University and has a career long history in music performance from reggae to rock to Middle Eastern as well as church music. Spending some time living and performing in Boston and developing an interest in the spiritual tradition of Sufism, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to his work and a joy to his interaction with the choir members.
From the oldest to the newest members, there is a love of music and a love of fellowship within the choir. Many members have sung in school groups or other church choirs. Some members sing in other groups as well, most notably The Seaglass Chorale.
St. David’s choir sings hymns and anthems at the 10:30 service from September through June, as well as at other services during Christmas and Easter seasons. Rehearsals are held once each week. No audition is required; just a love of singing.
The children’s choir sings periodically during the year at the 10:30 service, sometimes with the adult choir. Children as young as six years old are welcome.
